On Thursday, March 25, 2010, SAIT MacPhail School of Energy held the Annual MSE Student Awards Ceremony in MacDonald Hall and the Heart Atrium.
The event was attended by Award Donors, Student Award Winners & their Families, MSE Staff & Faculty, and SAIT Alumni. The event honours worthy MacPhail School of Energy students, and recognises their academic achievements. As Gregor Schoenberg, Petroleum Engineering Technologist Instructor, said in his speech “To some students, these awards can be the difference between getting an education, or not”.
Along with Gregor, speeches were made by MacPhail School of Energy Dean, Mary MacDonald; SAIT Polytechnic Vice President Academic, Dr. Gord Nixon; and Chemical Technology Student Award Winner, Padmini Popuri.
